Search for hidden folks in hand-drawn, interactive, miniature landscapes. Unfurl tent flaps, cut through bushes, slam doors, and poke some crocodiles! Rooooaaaarrrr!!!!! A strip of targets shows you what to look for. Click on a sasaran for a hint, and find enough to unlock the next area.
Hidden Folks is a hidden object game, akin to the old Where’s Wally books. Unlike the old Where’s Wally books though, Hidden Folks doesn’t have a recurring character, like Wally, that you need to find on each page. The game has a very nice atmosphere to it, and the gameplay is amazingly fun! This game does not copy the typical hidden object book/game in a lot of aspects though, sound has become a major part of the game, not being essential, but adding so much more personality to the game. All the sounds in the game can be reproduced by the mouth, giving it a very childlike feeling to it, which accompanies the feelings of nostalgia (for the old hidden object books) quite well.
Along with the design of the characters possessing a hand-drawn aesthetic, this creates a very comforting world to find hidden people in! (quite child friendly, with the exceptions of a couple minor characters in the game). You can change the atmosphere of the game majorly by selecting different colours for the game to be in. You can choose the average white background, and black lines, a light brown tea-stained look, or black background with white lines. I personally like the light brown look better, as it is easier on the eyes, so your eyes can focus on more important things, such as finding hidden folks!
